Mining
The ores of "Talnakh-Oktyabrsky" deposit are mined by the mines "Oktyabrsky" ( cupriferous and high grade ores), "Taymyrsky" (high grade ores), "Komsomolsky" (impregnation, cupriferous and high grade ores). Mining of cupriferous and high grade ores are conducted with minimum loss in the bowels (1-1,5 per cent). Multislice mining and heading-and-stall method allow to save the value of these ores. They provide the complete excavation and complete stowing of worked out space. The mining depth is 300-1500ì with further lowering to 1800-2000ì. The underground mine "Zapolyarny" and the openmine "Medvezhy Ruchei" impregnation ore of "Norilsk -1" deposit (cupriferous and high grade ores are in small volumes). The underground mining is fulfilled using the system of forced block caving with one-stage excavation. The depth of mining is 300-500ì.Besides, for provision of internal need of the combine, anhydride is mined by mine "Anhydride", limestone - by mine "Limestones" and coal by quarry "Skalny". The mine "Limestones" and quarry "Skalny" are included into Coal and Non-metallic Mining Enterprises Office. |
Depending on the quantitative composition of minerals and, accordingly, on the contents of metals in ore, the deposits are divided into three types of ore: impregnation, cupriferous and high grade.
