The First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Nikolay Bogdanovsky, Head of the Federal Communications Agency Oleg Dukhovnitsky, Head of the Academy of the Federal Guard Service of the Russian Federation Viktor Mizerov, and a number of other heads of the state bodies became this year laureates.
In the nomination ‘Secure Cyberspace’ the Silver Dagger award was given to MMC Norilsk Nickel. Vice President, Head of Corporate Security Unit of Norilsk Nickel Vladislav Gasumyanov received honorary award on behalf of the company.
According to the top manager of Norilsk Nickel, such major events as Infoforum-2016, with participation of representatives of the Security Council, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Federal Security Service and the Federal Guard Service of Russia, leading domestic and foreign corporations, raise to an even higher level the issue of security of IT infrastructure of strategic backbone enterprises forming the basis of the country’s economy and economic security.
