Russia’s Foreign Minister thanks Norilsk Nickel for its part in rebuilding the Russian Salon at the UN Headquarters in Geneva

“Numerous charitable contributions made by the company you manage is a testament to the social responsibility of the Russian businesses and to the caring about the cultural heritage and prestige of Russia”, writes the Foreign Minister to the President of Norilsk Nickel. The Russian Salon has become the “jewel” of the historical Geneva architectural ensemble.

The Russian Salon at the Palais des Nations in Geneva opened on March 1, 2016 following a reconstruction. The opening ceremony was attended by Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations as well as Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and Andrei Bougrov, Vice President of PJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel.
