Norilsk Nickel announces changes in management structure, which are aimed at further efficiency enhancements.
The Company follows the international standards in building governance systems and introduces the institute of senior vice presidency in the structural make-up of the management team with the following appointees: Andrei Bougrov, Onik Aznauryan, Sergey Batekhin, Larisa Zelkova, Sergey Malyshev.
On top of that Norilsk Nickel creates two new positions: Vice President, Strategic Planning; and Vice President, Investor Relations.
Sergey Dubovitskiy is promoted to Vice Presidency for Strategic Planning. Since 2013 he was in charge of the Strategic Planning Department, developed and regularly updated the new corporate strategy with oversight of capital expenditure policy.
Vladimir Zhukov becomes Vice President for Investor Relations following three years as Head of the Investor Relations Department, where he promoted the corporate strategy and made it clearer for the investors, was responsible for diversification of the Norilsk Nickel shareholder base and introduction of best practices in terms of IR.
The new appointees taken from the corporate talent pool are in line with the Norilsk Nickel HR-Strategy which seeks promotions for candidates from the existing staff pool.
